Welcoming

Many folks have music in their soul and haven’t found the right way to present it. This is where the autoharp can help. It is a very easy instrument to learn how to play, regardless of your background or experience in musical training. Anyone can learn to play music on the autoharp in a very short amount of time.

Each workshop strand will have at least one class designed for the beginning player. Even if you have never played an instrument, you will find yourself right at home at the CAG. If you are an intermediate or advanced player, you will also find terrific workshops to add to your craft. Together, we all make and love the sounds of music.

The California Autoharp Gathering welcomes all levels of musicianship to our festival. There are no judgments on how well you can play. If you enjoy playing music – then you are welcomed to come and be a part of us. If you have music in your person and want to express it, then please come to the CAG and you’ll quickly see how you can play a musical instrument. All people are welcomed here. It is a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for you to play and sing music!
